Intérims – Art for Employment explores different kinds of relationship between the artist and the system of the salary as a payment due for an activity. The works underline the absurdity of some systems, using poetical, ironical or conceptual means. They also talk about the difficult economical life of the artist, about art as a “product” – or not.
The exhibition catalogue offers images as well as critical and historical points of view on this theme.
