This volume retraces the solo exhibition D’après (de Pisis – Paolini) by Luca Vitone, organized in 2022 at the Museo Novecento in Florence. The artist presented four new works, in dialogue with the exhibitions of Giulio Paolini and Filippo de Pisis, which were also held at the museum during the same months. Through an investigation into the role of these two masters in both collective and personal memory, Vitone challenges our perception of space in works with a strong conceptual imprint, characterized by the use of diverse media.
